Thoughts from inner space
Thoughts from inner space
After 15+ years in the marketing and advertising world I am deciding to share my thoughts, lessons (failures) and ideas on where we are and where we are going. As cheesy as it may sound, I like to live in the 'art of the possible' constantly searching for new ways to better ourselves, companies, clients and culture.
My niche has really been focused on the customer, and the many variations that could mean. Companies have a tendency to think of themselves as a corporation and get away from the simple thought of the individual. I aim to simplify the experience, the customer, the data and the technology to demystify the complex. At the end of the day we all want the same thing...convenience!
The ideas I share are far from unique or original but are gathered from those I admire, look up to and have the pleasure of knowing, working with and can call friends and family. The key to success is self-prescribed but the common ingredient is the people you surround yourself with.
When I think about a life well lived, I tend to think about actions, incidents, stories and memories. What gets me out of bed in the morning is knowing that I have no idea how the day will end. My goals are relatively the same inside and outside the office, to be better, be smarter, experience new things, enjoy the wins and learn from the losses. I try not to take the world too seriously since I don't believe it was meant to be. If you want to find my happy place, it's near a beach with a fishing pole.
I am a passionate, die-hard and forever loyal Juventino. It is beyond a team for me but a mindset and way of life.
My favorite authors are two American classics; Ernest Hemingway, Charles Bukowski. I admire their written words as much as I admire their spoken. They were often misunderstood and overlooked, something everyone can learn from.
Finding my exact location is often difficult, I tend to live the planes, trains and automobile life. The world is far too big to stay in one place for too long. Too much to see, too much to do.
